Pretty sure Brisson's in that sweet, sweet spot where he's writing a character he likes and getting to spite said character's detractors at the same time. We ain't running short on Glob so long as Brisson has an X-Book.

I wonder if adult Jean will ever have a solo series like her teen self. doesn't look likely given red wasn't setting any new bars. perhaps she has no inherent appeal/sustainable power for a solo despite her fan base? speaking of solos wonder if the storm solo will ever be a reality or will just remain a rumor.

I don't think even Cyclops could carry a solo.
the X-men, even the "popular" ones aren't really that big individually. They only work or sell as a team (with the exception of Wolverine, x-23, deadpool and sometimes Cable)

Almost any X-man can get carry a solo. Current Marvel doesnt dish them out expecting them to do Wolverine numbers but a run of 10-12 issues (enough for 2 trades) seems standard
