I started seriously collecting comics in 1989 ( I was 19 at the time ). I'll be 49 this month and I'm still collecting. If it's a passion of yours, stick to it! I honestly didn't have any friends collecting comics at the time (most of my friends could care less about them). However, I've made friends over the years due to my collecting comics and love of SciFi in general.

I feel you. When I was in high school all people read were manga. Even around the 20s I see more manga readers than comic readers. Guess thats why I hang out here more often

Eh? What's that, MajorHoy? Sorry, I got muh hearing aids on but there's background noise, refrigerator-fans, y'know.
Oh-- oh yes, yes, I've crossed over into that what's that? into that over-70s territory, yes. Wasn't lookin' where I was goin' y'know. Hearing aids is real, lost m'hearing sig-nificantly after a heart attack. "Heart attack"? Me? I've been doing everything to AVOID a yeah well, so yeah, here I am, cracked that old over-70 cry-teria by a year, now. Hopin' to get older, even, just t'keep up with the chart, here. Yes. Re-reading Jack Knight Starman is what I've been doin'. The new stuff I like is like the old stuff: Static, Icon & Rocket, Serial, Usagi, always Usagi... You all?
