Figured it would be interesting to see where they rank against each other.

He held his own against Sentry, So I would lean towards Blue Marvel but DC characters general have the speed feats which end up being the X-factor and I am pretty sure that Captain Marvel is provable faster . So I am guessing Captain Marvel wins
Yeah, Billy should be able to pound him with impunity due to speed disparity.

Billy- speed kills
So the speedblitz is enough of an edge for billy?
Captain Marvel would blitz Blue Marvel. "Shazam" probably not so much
Yeah, and they also tweaked his power set. He's slower but more versatile-- more like a Thor analogue than another Superman. Based on what I've seen, anyway. He's got super speed but I didn't see anything close to Kryptonian levels.
Or he could just go back to being Captain Marvel, the first hero to fly, the ultimate escape- kid turning into superhero, Superman before Superman was cool, an icon of comics
It's really annoying how Captain Marvel has been wasted by DC especially when he has such great moments when written in his classic form like the JSA stuff, Superman Beyond and First Thunder. The new 52 story was pretty horrible and you'd think theyd be promoting him with the new movie and all but ehh even "Shazam" is not getting the love at DC. They've really wasted the potential. Done well, he could be a hero at least as iconic as a GL or Flash. Idk why they keep trying to change a formula that already works
And he has such an epic supporting cast as well. Instead everyone has a hard on for Black Adam, who don't get me wrong, is cool and all but is best written as a dark counterpart instead of the main attraction. And then there's Sivana, the original mad scientist, Captain Nazi, Marvel Jr, Mary, tawny, the Rock of Eternity
All I'm saying is, if Aquaman can become a billion dollar franchise, Captain Marvel not even headlining his own solo is frankly, criminal
