I would have bought this book (it certainly could have worked as an Extended Mini). They may not have been top-tier X-Men but I do like all the characters and their designs and the pitch was definitely different to the same old boring AF rehashed extinction crap we have now and have been getting for years (which a lot of readers whine and bitch about but when presented with something different they find all sort of excuses not to buy).

I’d but the hell out of this; I hate that the same few X Men are featured over and over ... I’m sick of Logan already.
I hope Rosenberg can raise Banshee’s profile, and make this a possibility.
    Quite agree.

There have been times when his profile has been quite high in the past, and his history, both with family and with the wider Marvel universe, is pretty well established. However he's never really been given a real chance to shine. He's got a lot going for him, ex cop, Interpol, acquaintance of Magneto from very early on, teacher, the death seed, the castle and the whole mythology thing. There is just so much untapped potential. I think more so than any of the early X-Men he is still a bit of a mystery, and there are so many stories to be told.

And by the way Shalvey's variant cover for the next issue with the Cliffs of Moher in the background is bloody spectacular.

Yes, I hope that cover means Sean’s health will soon be restored.

Declan, would you re-pitch this if your schedule permits you to draw it?

Well, Rosenberg has done nothing to increase attention on Sean...he’s an afterthought.
But his back story I’d compelling: with the tight support characters, it could easily work.
Declan, don’t give up on this is dream,

Hopefully we’ll get something similar (if Banshee could avoid the crosshairs for another few months)

Well, Banshee was NOT able to avoid the crosshairs...
Anyone think he’s not gone again?
If he is, that was the most pointless revival ever.
