Raven was such an original at the time. And Cyborg was a neat, (back then) modern take on the Robot Man concept. I'd also been a Red Star fan since seeing his return in the early issues of NTT

TT began as a trio of Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad though I guess Donna and Roy are considered founders. My favorite adds to the Fab Five all pre-date or post-date this list:
Loved the Bronze Age team (Great Frog FTW!) including Titans West: Lilith, Gnarrk, Mal Duncan, Bumblebee, Hawk, Dove, Bette Kane/Bat-Girl/Flamebird, and Golden Eagle. Maybe my favorite addition ever was Joker's Daughter.
Next favorite additions were mostly from Johns' run, especially Miss Martian, Kid Devil, Ravager, Lagoon Boy, Blue Beetle, and Aquagirl. I'm okay with the YJ characters (Tim, Cassie, Kon, Bart) but they're not favorites of mine.
From the list: Beast Boy, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, Jericho, Terra, Red Star (NTT was great until it wasn't).
No thanks to the Ray Palmer/Atom team.

Kole is my favorite of the less-seen Teen Titans, but I also like Jericho and Damage.
Raven was all sorts of neat, in that she combined two problematic powers for a team book, teleportation (which eliminates some storytelling options and 'splits the party') and healing (which can reduce the sense of threat from injury to characters and even lead to excessive displays of gore, to highlight the healer in action, begging the question why don't heroes who don't travel with a personal healer get impaled so often), and yet, she still worked, thanks to the unreliability of her powers (and emotional state, at times). I would never have written a character like Raven, and yet she was key to some of the best stories of that era, so what the heck do I know?
Terra and Raven had great stories as well, during this era. Cyborg, sadly, not so much. I kept waiting for more on the strange creature that crippled him (and ate his mom) resurfacing as a new threat, having adapted to life in this universe (and perhaps taken on the form of the first person it assimilated, his mother!), but nope, no origin-based solo development for Vic.
