Needs to dial back the zany a bit, but otherwise on target.

Yeah i think it got a little too wcky, butI think she nailed the whole meta aspect, and the idea of her being retconned out of existence is interesting (though sad and scary from her perspective, obviously)

Weirdly, Gwenpool doesn't appear in Marvel Comics #1000, but Jeff the land-shark DOES. He appears on an Elsa Bloodstone page.

Lets just say there is MORE truth to that more than a lot of folks realize. Because there are some folks at Disney (HIGHER UPS) that question her (and two more upcoming guest stars in the mini) popularity. They don'[t mind what money they bring in but why are people interested in them.

This is not me making it up but what I was told by Leah Williams.

Has anybody else read issue 2? I'm mostly enjoying this miniseries so far.

I like that Gwen is basically running around trying to find the most exciting scenarios for her covers. That little moment towards the end of issue 2 where she talks about disappointing people also suggests this series is going to go back to the issues she had with her parents.

One thing I'm less fond of is some of Gwen's characterisation- she feels... off. It especially feels weird that somebody who once said she found Deadpool comics a little too 'lol memes' is so memey here.
