Pick a character who started off in any other medium before the movie of their adventures got made, and write how they might react if they saw that movie. I'll start:

I force myself to believe that the first half of the movie is the legitimate part and that the "actor" person is a ploy similar to Catch Me if You Can.
If you notice, it is a similar scene where he is in the bathroom and comes out after possibly listening to a little of the conversation and suddenly has a persona...
Yeah... bleh... I hated that second half. -_-

I don't think he'd even like the first half. The Mandarin doesn't commit random acts of terrorism. He conspires quietly behind the scenes, openly challenges enemies to duels, and openly conquers. Comicbook Mandarin would find even first act "Mandarin" kind of cowardly and pointless. Comicbook Mandarin is a warrior, a conqueror and an ecomomic/political schemer, not exactly a terrorist.

I imagine that Thanos would probably blow up the solar system when it's revealed that his counterpart is only planning on killing half the universe, and even that was to try and extend the lives of the other half.
