I love this big silly book. Snyder's got to have a record for most Bat-Armors. With most extreme dramatic differences between them.
Retro315 no more. Anonymity is so 2005.

    Thanks for this thread.

This newest run with the line up from the animated show in the early 2000s warmed my heart. I've loved every bit of it so far and am so glad this line up exists as it is right now.

Hands down so much better than the original Rebirth run…

Not gonna lie, this is probably my favorite Justice League lineup and easily one of, if not THE most powerful roster ever.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

That punch was insane! Major DBZ father-son kamahameha vibes and I love it. It broke the world the Forger created!

My question is why is it that Shane survived when the future League and a lot of the reality around them was obliterated? Perhaps because he's made of Martian/Human DNA, like Perpetua's Great Army?

Wow I didn’t even consider that. But Shayne would totally fit right into her army. Plus he’s got wings! I can see a very sad moment potentially happening with Perpetua brainwashing the little guy and turning him into a monster. Only for J’onn to have to take him out.

That was a really great Superman moment. It was an awesome super feat and it captured the heart of the character.

There are a lot of meta aspects to DC stories right now. Obviously Doomsday Clock but here too with the 5th and 6th dimensions. Morrison said that the 5th dimension is imagination. 5th dimensional being are kinda like comic book editors. They can flip through any part of a story and make changes. This issue brought up Hypertime and doing things beyond imagination. The Source is currently enveloping the universe. The Source can be considered pure imagination or the blank page that the comic is drawn on. Superman’s feat being described in almost meta terms. “At a speed beyond physics. Beyond imagination, a white-hot stylus skimming over the dark, redrawing what is possible.”

Do you think Superman's punch is mass murder which destroyed Forger earth and his new multiverse?
I saw people claiming it. I think they are joking though.

While I'm finding this run far from perfect and not exactly a favorite of mine (though I AM enjoying it in some level), I have to agree with this statement. THE JLA under Hitch felt totally disconnected from the rest of the DCU. Priest's run was a little better, but it also seemed to connect with just a small part of the larger DCU. This run is actually using a wide variety of characters from the DCU, being impacted by and having impact on what's happening in other books. I'm loving the use of Mera in the League. Will Payton was always my favorite Starman, and though I've yet to see his everyman kind of hero vibe that made me a fan, I like that they've brought him back. The art has also been a great plus.

    Peace
