Probably because Jason Aaron is still in Marvel and it would be impolite to say "Dude, this was wrong" and he would die before admitting that Scott did something right

Lol i know this is way off topic and will proably get deleted. and i understand. But remember when marvel and non x-fans were acting like we were basically birthers by saying marvel was not promoting the x-men because they didn't own all the rights and then in several interviews after they got it writers let hints drop that we were actually right. vindication does feel good as f*$(

I'm glad Marvel is promoting Hickman's run. I always thought that Morrison's run on New X-men should have been promoted in a similar way. When we have good stories with amazingly talented writers, artists, colorists, etc then we need to get folks to read the books. We need new readers. We need to show that comics can be layered and consist of complex and sophisticated themes. We need to show that comics can be intellectual and more than superhero fight books.
I am excited for Hickman's run and I hope I do not set myself up to be disappointed.
