I love Hickmans FF more than I did his Avengers.... but a bad Hickman story is still better than 95% of the crap I have read in the last 5 years.
I wonder if he will incorporate the FF into this storyline.
I know his love for the FF...and Franklin is a mutant.

She is not an X-Men character. The only reason we have been burdened with her was because of Aaron's stupid obsession with making Iceman badass by giving him tons of girlfriends.

She's a mutant and has worked all over the Marvel universe and deserves way more respect imo and she's more interesting than most the kids anyways so why not

Love Firestar. Happy to see her here. Her history is far more interesting than other characters. And not an XCharacter? She was one of Emma’s Hellions, dated Cannonball, dated an Upstart, was part of an alt.timeline Mutant Liberation Front with Justice... and was an Xman in the Amazing Friends cartoon.

A lot of the iconic X-Women are missing which isn't surprising since Hickman likes writing dudes more.

It’s more than just because of Iceman

I enjoyed the limited series with Emma.
I remember when she threatened to melt Emmas face.
Loved her relationship with Vance.
A good character to incorporate if Hickman decides to go that route.

Ive only read Secret Warriors by Hickman. So my optimism is at 45%.

That's the scary part. At least they've hinted that Rogue and Gambit are going to another title. Doesn't explain the lack of Psylocke, though.

It's not really a shocker to me. Seen the attitude behind this approach plenty as a Polaris fan, especially these past few years.
