Yep, Shannon's a guy. Even if his Facebook and Youtube pages didn't already reveal what he looks like, the fact that his portfolio consists almost entirely of women in titillating poses is a big clue. It's probably why the character he got to illustrate was Emma. I'd probably compare him to someone like Greg Horn. Nonetheless, he's a talented artist who seems to be focused on video game stuff.

I'm not following his Facebook, Youtube or Deviantart pages so I didn't know about that (I only know him because of the Dceased variant he recently did) but thanks for the info

That is definitely better than the other cover, and she's featured alone so that's a plus.

Just hope we get to see a little bit more of her with the white costume. As much as I like the black variant white is just the way to go. Can't wait for HoX and PoX!

Shouldn't Storm be watering those flowers with a tiny rainstorm (I've always loved that image of her in her attic loft watering her plants) instead of electrocuting them? I get the electricity is good for plant soil/nutrients etc. but...Storm surrounded by a bower of plants and flowers and watering them with minature rain storms would have made for a far more visually interesting, character-informative and uncommon (UGH! N'ode to Lightning Lass!) cover.

I expected much better from Sara Pichelli. The Storm and Jean's covers look rushed and unfinished.

I believe the scratchy, sketchy look is an intentional, stylistic choice.

And that's me knowing how really good an artist Sara Pichelli truly is when she executes on point.
