Agreed. Mystique was a clear psycho lady in X-Black. Even Emma isn't that bad, And she's with Creed in HOX. They are even more one-note when they're together because Marvel is intent in selling them as Chucky x Tiffany. And we see Torch & Thing attacking them. So they ain't good in this.
Both could stand to take a long break. Lol

Why was all this back and fourth over Mystique on the cover. When the cover basically explains itself.
I looked at it and went "Yep, those sure are popular mutant women alright"
We'll see. I'm expecting and prepared for Marvel excluding her because it matches their behavior and attitude toward her.
Having looked at and thought about the cover, I don't think the cut off arm and leg are on the back side. I'd expect them to be on the left of the cover if that was the case. For that reason, I expect there's going to be another variant cover that continues the image.
