It's almost too funny that there are definite similarities that you can find in the comparison.

Militant Season 7 Buffy = Militant Scott
Pre-Soul Spike = HFC White Queen Emma
After-Soul Spike = Emma during most of her X-Men run.
Angelus = Dark Phoenix Jean
Normal Angel = X-Men Red Jean

In the end they are archetypes, that's why they match up with Buffy, each of the characters represents an Archetype. You can switch Emma and Logan to represent Spike, there are characteristics in that Archetype that match up to both of them.

Lol, I don't mind the soap opera X-Men, it's been a fun read all these years even though I get just as frustrated about the writing direction of my favourite characters in the same way people who watch soaps can get frustrated. Lol, some of the female villain actresses on soaps get hate mail sent to them. If Emma Frost were a real person she would probably have 50% hate mail and 50% fan mail.

If Rosenberg's Uncanny has to continue, can we at least get rid of the tracer?

I predict that Uncanny and X-Force will run till about August and then reset in September perhaps with reset numbering to #1's. I think the whole X-line is going to go to #1's in September.

The thing is that Soap Operas are mostly watched by women, since comics are mostly men, Emma didn't got bad rep at all.

You can't switch Emma for Wolverine, because it was never a love triangle. Logan never threatened Scott/Jean.

For me the love triangle tainted forever Emma and Scott

Even in real life. It also matched up with Brad x Angelina x Jennifer. Which is still going. The bad guys & girls always seem to win. lol

I just need to know if collecting Uncanny X-Men is going to result in it being rebooted - again. If so, I am just going to drop the book and be done with Marvel.

It was said Uncanny would continue. But it may see a reboot since BC released rumors about the artists changing. Apparently Greg Land will be doing art at some point. Rosenberg said his Uncanny only had one artist. But that's the thing, his run on Uncanny may last 12 issues, then get a writer change.
