Well it makes sense him and Cannonball were important characters in Hickman's Avenger run. The last time Hickman wrote those two Sunspot ended up buying and becoming the leader of A.I.M

Any confirmation that Hickman stays on the Xmen books after this? I got to say as excited as I was to hear that take me was riding for the X-Men I was a little bit disheartened to find out that it was only for a 10 issue Mini. I was hoping it would be more of a ongoing series like his work on the Fantastic Four and Avengers.
