I saw it and enjoyed it, and I was too old to watch the cartoon in the heyday.

I wonder how this movie is going to drop on second weekend. I doubt it will do great. I hope it does very well, don't get me wrong, but I just don't think it's very rewatchable.

Apparently the movie has a global total of $3,716,216 (Box Office Mojo). That's off a four-million budget. Might not be enough to make it a series as some cast members were hoping, but I don't think it's lost out on finishing in the black. Anecdotally, the movie has been getting decent word of mouth and even some of the more negative comments seem to be of the "it's for a younger audience and it does it's job well for that demographic." I mean, a lot people I know who enjoyed it didn't even grow up watching the cartoon, so far as I know.
