Who is your all-time favorite DC comic artist?

Many artists go back and forth between companies, so I'm not meaning DC-exclusive. But if an artist drew for DC Comics, they are eligible.

So who is your all-time favorite artist who drew for DC Comics at one time or another? It'll be interesting to see if most will choose current artists or classic ones.

Jose Luis Garcia Lopez.

Carmine Infantino. He was the good artist that drew Batman, when I first started buying comics. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the oddball artwork that Sheldon Moldoff did as Bob Kane's ghost, but I always knew that Infantino was the greater artist. And he drew the Elongated Man in DETECTIVE COMICS, as well. And he drew all those great covers. When I looked beyond just the Batman comics from DC, it was Infantino who I always found doing superior work. And then he went on to become the editorial director and then publisher. Infantino is the definition of DC for me.

That being said, no one artist defines DC for me like Jose Luis Garcia Lopez.

Since this thread seems to require us picking just one artist, I'd probably be tempted to go with Neal Adams, too, but unfortunately, he didn't really do a ton of interiors except for Batman.

Same goes for Garcia-Lopez. Love his art, but he really didn't do a ton of it. What he did is very memorable to me, though.

George Perez might be my favorite because with Crisis, he pretty much drew every single DC character. He also had extended runs on Justice League, New Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, and Superman, so his art appears inside more DCs than Adams or Garcia-Lopez.

Of the more modern artists, I'd say it was Ivan Reis. He really can do no wrong. DC needs to let him do a Crisis-type book where he can draw everyone like Perez.

I’d have to say Doug Mahnke. His art on JLA is what got me collecting comics full time. I even have a tattoo of his version of Frankenstein.

Amanda Conner and Jason Fabok are right up there too.
