That old outfit is pretty much the same as the old Sandman, isn't it? Not a lot of originality back then...

I knew nothing about him as a character, but I always really liked his modern brown outfit. When was the last time he appeared in anything?

In the early 2000s in the Nightwing series, as far as I know. He was an old man who lived in Dick's building. Don't know if he died when it was destroyed or lasted until all of Bludhaven was destroyed.

It should also be noted that Jonathan Law has been name dropped in Doomsday Clock...

A couple of pages from Doomsday Clock #10:

Don't know where else / when else Jonathan Law (or at least his name) has shown up.

Kid looks uncomfortable in picture. Given the letter, that's understandable. Some nice creepy blood spatter.

So, I see a script. Looks appropriate to what I know of John's work. Honestly, as someone not reading it, my first thought is how/if the different dates (all in 54) play in.

I wonder if Dusk in the screenplay is Nathanial Dusk.

They showed that scene from the Nathaniel Dusk movie earlier in that issue.
