Although not a huge role in the movie, he was a Canadian actor who was highly visible in bit parts in many 70s-80s films shot in British studios (Such as James Bond, Superman etc), which included Star Wars, where he was the technician who says: "This R2 unit of yours is a bit beat up, want a new one?"
