Lex, considering his role in the mythos, is always a bit of a douche. But it varies in degrees depending on the version. Pre-Crisis Lex has many more redeemable qualities, which is why I prefer takes like Maggin and Morrison's Lex. Byrne's Lex, on the other hand, is skeevy in the worst ways possible, particularly how he is around women.

Well, the reason the pre-Crisis Lex was a villain was because he lost his hair (as a result of Superboy's inadvertent actions). You can hardly blame him for that.

Man I never thought of that, but you are correct. Pompous, smug, annoying jerks to a one. I'm a little surprised no one said Larfleeze or Booster, but compared to the mad scientists, they're actually charming.

I love her, but Kate Spencer's kind of a jerk. I wouldn't want her any other way, though.

Magog was also a pretty big jerk in JSA, at least after Johns left the title, anyway.
