Well, one theory on the teaser image of House of X/ Power of X is canned;
AiPT!: Angel Alexander was wondering if the two mutants in the front corners of the image are future children of X-Men members.
Jordan: That seems like a good theory. They are new characters you’ll be seeing more of when the books hit the stands in July. I will say, they are not “Infinity Warps” style mash-ups, as some people had theorized.
Q: Quite the promo art, heh?
A: Yes.
Q: Thanks for all the great questions, see you next week!

Great article. Glad JDW resisted the urge to use this as an opportunity to pull an elaborate April Fool's Day joke. I'm also intrigued by the revelation that Jonathan Hickman's X-Men story has been in the works for a while now. If he pitched it shortly after JDW became editor, then that means they've been building towards it since before X-men Blue and Gold ended. I know Marvel likes to plan ahead with their stories, but this is quite a bit of foresight. Then again, that's perfectly consistent with how Hickman does things so I can't wait to see the fruits of all that planning.

That preview image makes me really confused about Pixie, especially since she's suspected of being a fake created by Nate.
Also interesting that they're going with Evan for that cover instead of someone more recognizable like Dazzler or Kitty.
