Well, I was going to use the "Shadowplay" Dr. Strange, that was the first one I thought of. Damn day job, sucking up all my internet time...

    I'm going with a real-world nurse here.

Our parents collected a lot of Ladybird 'Adventure from History" Books and other series way back. This one is still in the house.

    Take it up with Mort.
He just turned 90 years old last month (a little older than my Mother). I wouldn't want to pester him with a question about something that was over 35 years ago.

Working for MAD is good for an artist's life expectancy! "Fold-in" artist Al Jaffee turned 98 last month!

sorry about that. The worse thing is when someone uses a cover that you have used before and then wins with it! (Fantastic Four #258 ) I get very territorial sometimes with Doom covers

I blame myself. Victor Von Doom is NOT a medical doctor and so would not qualify so I feel as if I have made this week a bit more difficult for Iron Maiden.

It might have been intended to make people think of the opening of Ben Casey, which consisted of a hand drawing the symbols "♂, ♀, ✳, †, ∞" on a chalkboard, as cast member Sam Jaffe uttered, "Man, woman, birth, death, infinity."

Which I can only remember because it got parodied on Roger Ramjet.

So what? Victor could get board-certified even without any medical training or experience. After all, Superman did!

I would comment on Ben Casey, but it might ruin some upcoming entries in the contest!
