I really like what Brisson has to say here and that he's really going to play up the Rachel-Stryfe-Nate triangle. I don't feel she'll be left in the future at this point as again, she's further along in the timeline than she needs to be for the Askani stuff.

X-Force #5 explained why kid Cable came back in time because the timestream was falling apart because of the O5 being displaced.

X-Force #6 is Stryfe's perspective of the same events.

He was insanely impressed with himself to obtain Mother Askani (Rachel) while she is trapped in her hound persona. He even used her to hunt and capture all the members of Clan Askani in this issue. Then Stryfe forced Cable to surrender by threatening to kill Rachel and every member of Clan Askani.
