    DAY TWENTY-ONE

    2018: Avengers: Infinity War

Summary: On his ambitious mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the powerful relics to inflict his warped will on reality with the Infinity Gauntlet. The fate of existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment. With just the snap of his fingers, Thanos intents to rebalance the universe by randomly exterminating half of all living things. The scattered Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, warriors of Wakanka, Doctor Strange, and many more heroes must all team up to thwart Thanos’ ironclad will to succeed at any cost.

Favorite Moment: “I am Groot.” “I am Steve Rogers.”

Notable Events That Happened Around The Movie: With the threat of Thanos more real than ever before, Graviton attempted to boost his powers by absorbing more Gravitonium into himself, but Graviton was successfully stopped by SHIELD, and the Ant-Man Scott Lang is left stranded in the Quantum Realm while helping obtain Quantum particles to heal Ghost when half the universe is wiped from existence.

Fun Film Fact: The Incredible Hulk crashing into Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum is a nod to the comic book "The Infinity Gauntlet" #1, where the Silver Surfer is the one to crash through Strange's window and warn of the threat of Thanos.

    Summary: spoilers:
Adrift in space with sparse food, water, and fuel, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers Thor, Black Widow, War Machine, Captain America, a returned Captain Marvel, Rocket, & Bruce Banner prepare for an epic showdown with Thanos to get the Infinity Stones back in order to undo his damage. Upon finally defeating Thanos, they discover that he destroyed the stones. 5 years later, after having witnessed his whole family turn to dust, Hawkeye adopts the Ronin persona to enact his own vengeance across the globe. Black Widow feels determined to bring him back in the fold as Scott Lang emerges from the Quantum Realm, seemingly unharmed from the events of the Vanishing. This triggers the team with the help of Nebula, Ant-Man, Rocket, a merged Hulk, and more go on a time heist in order to steal back the stones in an attempt to bring everyone back that vanished. As the separate time heists unfold and most go awry, the team finds themselves at crux point when Thanos from the past returns in order to undo what the Avengers are doing. It takes the full force of all the returned Avengers, Guardians, and more to ultimately defeat Thanos.
