Anyway, I took that as spoilers:

her being immortal truly, since the cycle could go on indefinitely. But Irene predicted that after 10 maximum 11 lives she would have died before her mutation manifested, thus ending the cycle. Not like her mutation had a 10 lives expiration date, it was mostly luck in when she died

This issue, rather than #1, is the one that really marks a new age for the X-men. Crazy awesome stuff!

Remind me not to read spoilers anymore. But this was a really good issue. The retcon works. I think it may be the best retcon ever done. I was going to create a spoilers thread but its already been spoiled. But we do need a separate thread for discussion.

Just read it. It is a crazy awesome book with beautiful art and colors. Loved it completely. It is just mindblowing

A fantastic read, still a bit confused with a few things, but wow! I've always liked Moira, but this rockets her to the major leagues for me now.

And can we just admire for a moment Hickman's Destiny!! Beautifully creepy & Larraz's art makes that amazing costume shine.

Remember i told you guys two weeks ago my comic store did not get their shipment? Well, to be sure, I called them up and HoX 1 and 2 are both in. So happy!

In a 2 hours I am free and will buy them. It is VERY HARD to keep myself in check not to read the spoilers.

So which issue was a better read #1 or #2?

A little detail that stands out to me. Jordan was wrong when he said it's been more than 10 years. Based on this it would have been 9 years or less for the X-men in the MU and if they weren't formed until after the split with magneto it actually be 5 years or less.

Both were great but I would say that #2 is better.

I loved this more than POX 1. But HOX 1 is leading for me due to showing more of the current day, which is what I care most about.

But this was great expansion & clean-up. I liled seeing Destiny too. Very creepy take on her.

The answer is Yes

Both are good Hox 1 is great world-building, Hox 2 is a really really brave decision
