Blue had some cool moments. People generally love Red. Gold was so much worse than the others that it looked REALLY bad.

Red and Blue were better, but no by much in my opinion.

I didn't think that Gold was that bad. it wasn't good, but nothing about struck me as awful.

No, but there was other books in the ResurrXion era that made up for it like Blue and Red. The entire X-landscape right now seems like a waste of time. Ive hated Rosenberg's run (and Dissassembled before it) and most of AoX has been a boring mess save Prisoner X and Next Gen, which arent enough to have me looking at the event favorably. X-Force also sucks

Hickman loves inter-team conflict, so we could easily be heading for Schism 2: Adamantium Boogaloo.

Yes, but this time we'd actually have a reason.

So what happens if he fails? Because so far their entire strategy for X-Men is to reorient their entire line around Hickman's PoX/HoX which is equivalent to betting the farm on Hickman's success. And if the rumors that Rosenberg's run was just there to buy time for Hickman it seems they don't have much of a strategy outside of Hickman. When Hickman had Avengers/New Avengers, Marvel still published other Avengers books and weren't putting all the eggs in one basket. Here it seems the opposite and that there doesn't seem to be much of a backup plan for the franchise.

If Hickman's run fails or if he leaves mid-way for some reason...then they go back to doing what they are doing now.

There were 10 (initial) books with Resurxion branding and like 3 of them were good... ish. Not a great batting average.

As a sports writer by trade, a .300 average is really good. But only in baseball.

Frankly I'm unable to imagine Hickman doing anything worse than what we've had in the X-Men since Secret Wars. Let the man burn what he has to burn to create something better.

Black Bolt was great, Blue was good, at least for me, but I really can't remember what would be the 3rd. You talking about Jean Grey?
