That’s a really fresh top 5. Thinking out if the box. Scott and Wolverine nowhere to be found.
Monet and Sam
no One Eye, Sniktdrunk or Weather Girl
I must admit, his tastes are way better than I tought
Bringing back the old, killing the young: that's the Marvel way
Gambit smells like death again D:
Hickman will give us a Planet X and Here come tomorrow of Rogue/Gambit/ and Mags
One thing is what your favorite characters are and then which ones you prefer to write. Hickman loves morally ambiguous characters but can not make a series with them alone.
Didn't see where the actual solicit blurbs had been posted yet, so:
Superstar writer Jonathan Hickman (SECRET WARS, AVENGERS, FANTASTIC FOUR) takes the reins of the X-Men universe! Since the release of Uncanny X-Men #1, there have been four seminal moments in the history of the X-Men. Giant-Sized X-Men. X-Men. Age of Apocalypse. New X-Men. Four iconic series that introduced a new era for Marvel’s mutants and revolutionized the X-Men. In House of X, Charles Xavier reveals his master plan for mutantkind…one that will bring mutants out of the shadow of mankind and into the light once more.Superstar writer Jonathan Hickman (INFINITY, NEW AVENGERS, FANTASTIC FOUR) continues his revolutionary new direction for the X-Men. Intertwining with HOUSE OF X, POWERS OF X reveals the secret past, present and future of mutantkind, changing the way you look at every X-Men story before and after. You do not want to miss the next seminal moment in the history of the X-Men!
MISTER SINISTER IS NOT A MUTANT.
Children. Please. Watch me work.
Well, so he confirmed Sinister in the story.
And have a favorite character doesn't mean you have to put him in the spotlight.
Larval can be your favorite X-men, but you give more space to him than to Xavier would be ridiculous.
A good writer know the difference between personal taste and what's coherent to the story.
