X-Men: Sure, we have the Summers Family spearheading it ... and Wolverine. Some villains are probably going to be Summers as well. Let's be honest, the amount of evil kids the X-Men produce as a whole is insane.

Excalibur: I hope we get to see the re-establishment of the Captain Britain Corps.

The idea of pirates (or a trading company) existing in the 21st century makes no sense. I'm guessing X and Mags messed up the timestream and broke it into pieces, so everyone is randomly thrown about throughout and trying to fix it.

This is the Marvel Universe. Lots of places have yet to make contact with the rest of the world. I don't find the idea of a trading company that weird in the 21st century when we have multiple fictional nations in comics alone.

Everyone else on that cover is related to the Summers-Grey family in some way, why else is Wolverine there?

It sounds to me like the whole "Past, Present, Future" thing is:

Past: Marauders taking place in the 18th century
Present: X-Men, Mew Mutants
Future: Fallen Angels

Obviously pirates like that still exist. I mean the concept of wood ship swashbucklers with parrots and eyepatches, which this is alluding to.

That seems kind of a stretch to get to time travel. Looking at the solicits (yes I know solicits lie) it just looks like modern day adventures.

Yeah, they made it sound like it's going to have a rotating cast that will allow for a ton of characters to show up in it.

Wolverine always shows up on covers, even if he doesn't do much in the book. Plus, we don't know they are the ONLY characters appearing there.
