Instead your comments read as transparent scaremongering about how the progressives are going to ruin everything we love while trying to feign outrage. It's a lazy obvious tactic tbh.
So the guy who has worked at Marvel for however many years, has access to much more data than we do, who's entire job and livelihood depends on producing and creating sucessful comics featuring dozens of characters is somehow more biased than an individual who openly admits that they don't care about the franchise as a whole, and instead only cares about how one character is featured, and also admits that they only "got into" this character via pornagraphic fan art is somehow less biased in regards to said character than the former? You might want to take a step back and reassess that accusation.
I'm not sure what the relation of her being "the breakout character" in some crap budget cancelled tv show has in relation to her popularity in the comics, i don't see the masses tweeting JDW for more Lorna comics, i don't see an increased fan base on forums such as this, however i see tons of people tweeting and talking about Jean, Scott, Emma, Logan the same way it has always been, crap tv show or not.
I don't see how one guy with a terrible taste in tattoos somehow equates to Marvel hates Lorna and she's actually a really popular character and if only they didn't have a secret agenda against her? So what? People get shitty tats all the time? It doesn't mean she's as popular as the A/B list X-Men. And in regards to them given other crap characters like Strong Guy comics, perhaps they were passion projects for those individual creators? Pointing out that "look, these other crappy unpopular characters got comics!!!" doesnt really strengthen the arguments for Lorna to be used by Hickman imo.
You also act that everyone at Marvel has some sort of shared conscious and is in fact, a singular being. I understand looking at it from the POV of an ax grinding fan makes it easier to make blanket statements to strengthen whatever point you're trying to make, but that's not how it actually is in reality. I don't know what point the Bob Harris letter has in connection to Lorna not being a popular character? That was 30 years ago? Hickman should not feel forced to use Lorna because you want him to, and you don't have the right to make attacks on the character or any creator because they dont share your taste.
As for your comments about covers, i know you only care about Lorna, but covers not matching what actually happens in the book happens ALL THE TIME, esp in the modern era. I can't count the amount of times I've looked at the cover of a comic and thought, well that's kinda random and not really related to the story, oh well. I don't see it as some sort of super secret agenda to trick me into buying said comic. I'd imagine what happens is the cover artist is emailed an outline of said issue by the writer or editor, and the characters featured in said issue, maybe a couple of ideas of what they would like the artist to draw. I can ensure you no one has ever said "Put Polaris on the cover so we can trick her dozens of fans into buying it!!! Mwhahahah". Such a way of thinking is absurd.
As for your last point, no, I'm not trolling, but you have been making the same complaints about Lorna for 10 years. You need to understand that her status will more than likely always be that of a bit player, because she's had 50 years to create a fan base and a legacy as a character, and neither has really happened. And that's just the way it is, and that's fine. Not every character can be Wolverine or Jean Grey, and Marvel are under no obligation to push this when the actual demand isn't there. Essentially I'm making this point because I'm excited for Hickman's upcoming work, i want to read discussions about said content in the threads related to his upcoming issues, and i don't want to keep having to scroll past multiple long ass posts about why you think Hickman is some sort of scummy hack because he didn't write about your fave.
