Chris Avellone, the lead designer of KOTOR2, is working on Fallen Order so at the least maybe we'll get some interesting writing out of it.

I am interested in this, but I wish they could have taken a page from 2004’s Jedi Academy and let you choose your gender or species for your Padawan. Yet another human male like Kanan Jarus seems very unoriginal to me. I want to see more games for Star Wars with a non human protagonist as the lead.

Single player games have been selling gangbusters for the last five years. Kingdom Hearts 3 sits on top as far best selling games of 2019 with Resident Evil 2 remake not far behind. A few days ago From Software announced that Sekiro sold 2 million copies in 10 days.

Single player games don't sell is a bullshit narrative EA itself created hoping to push audiences to their slot machines and it had the opposite effect.
