seismic-2 shows how to make a small item into the centrepiece of an image.

Honourable mentions to PaulBullion and Javasaurus. And it is interesting how these last few contests have shown a lot more non-superhero comics.

MRP, that comic was published by the Fabulous Flo Steinberg, the long time assistant to Stan Lee.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Honorable mentions to The Darknight Detective, kjn, MRP, WestPhillyPunisher, Stony, and Ravin' Ray.

But my vote this week is for . . . Rob Allen!

Kirby101 gets my vote too. Classics Illustrated really brings back some childhood memories.

Honorable mentions to LordMikel for the Magritte reference; and to Tami for the great riff on Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
