    Bloodsport

Robert DuBois' wife was one of many victims who died during an incident when Brainiac arrives to collect Superman. As a former soldier, he uses his military skills to hunt down aliens and place them in an environment where they needed to survive or be hunted by Bloodsport, he makes the aliens as the prey and himself as the predator, starting from small alien threats such as Helgramitte to bigger threats such as Superman and Supergirl.

    Going a bit weird here:

    Kru-El

As in Pre-Crisis, Kru was the black sheep of 5e El family, and involved in the weapons trade.

However, now his origin story is modified as a presaging of Krypton’s doom, and one of the more pragmatic and practical Phantom Zone escapees.

Kru was born/created according to Krypton’s population protocols: as with previous members of his family sharing his exact genetic code, he was meant to be a minor functionary to the House of El’s membership in the Science Guild - a sort of “mechanic” to his cousin Joe-El’s Omni-disciplinarian super scientist. And for the first part of his life, Kru was just like his genetic predecessors - a mild, unassuming, and grumpy worker.

    Then Brainiac happened.

In the wake of the seizure of Kandor and the otherwise successful but hard won defense of the planet from Brainiac, everyone tried returning to normal. Kru proved that wasn’t going to happen. In the middle of Brainiac’s attack, Kru had been forced into dire straits, and came to realize something - he hated the life he was “supposed” to live, was ruthless enough to kill for the sake of his survival and comfort (he betrayed a co-worker to Brainiac’s drones to seize his shelter for himself)... and that he was not alone in those realizations.

When Krypton was faced with something it hadn’t seen in literally centuries in the wake of Brainiac’s attack - organized crime sufficient enough to genuinely threaten public safety - Kru-El became the peerless arms dealer of Krypton, transforming science equipment into deadly weapons. This shocking development, as well as the general chaos of Krypton at the time, is what brought together the alliance and brief friendship of Jor-El and Dru-Zod. They uncovered Kru’s actions, and saw to his exile in the once rarely-used Phantom Zone... and were forced to confront the fact that Krypton would not be returning to normal. Zod began his first real imaginings of how he could “fix” Krypton, while Jor-El began questioning the system put in place by his ancestor, Kem-El, Millenia past, which would lead to his falling in love with Lara, making war on Zod when his friend turned against Krypton, and realizing Krypton was doomed even though Kem-El’s data said it wasn’t.

So... Kru-El before Krypton’s explosion was basically the catalyst for everything else afterward.

Presently, however... Kru briefly escaped with other “Zoners,” but noticed that Superman and the forces fo Earth and the Galaxy at large were actually capable of stopping him - witnessing the fearsome Faora get subdued in spite of her skills, and noting how the various Lantern Corps also helped corral other Zoners, Kru decided he’d rather play the long game. So instead, Kru fled Earth and aimed for the most chaotic spaces in the Galaxy, where he now operates as an absurdly powerful arms dealer and pirate... and is opposed by Brainaic 2 and the forces of LEGION.

    Heres mine

PG is dead since kara is already her. Supergirl takes on the role as foul mouthed devil may care flippant tough chick who exists to give clark a headache with how shes far from the glorious boy scout he is and since shes older technically speaking, has much more of a wise cool big sis street smart vibe clark lacks, which she gives to jon who may or may not teach him all the ways kyrptonian ways of teenage life, she also acts like a partner in crime to kon and lois snarkiness and ability to be cocky almost 24/7. Shes still a true pure hero, but shes a total troll about it and almost gives people playful **** for the fun of it. Shes a bit older but not to the point her **** are karem based she has a well respected modest bust like wonder woman and her costume is a cross between injustice supergirl and dcu supergirl without the cheerleader asestic butbstill has a skirt.

I'd probably turn Jose Delgado into Metropolis' new District Attorney with "gangbuster" being something of a nickname he got for how aggressively he went after street crime, his focus being if you want to clean up a city, you start from the ground up. I would have him be a native of Suicide Slum, someone who is friends with Jefferson Pierce but unaware he's Black Lightning. He'd be strong on criminal reform and rehabilitation, arguing that the criminal justice system shouldn't end when someone is thrown in jail, but when they can be reintegrated into society with their debt to it repaid and an actual fair chance at rebuilding their life without needing to resort to crime.

Essentially Vigilante played straight-laced. The downside is technically we'd be removing a Latino superhero from the roster, but Gangbuster never gets used anyway and if he did in the future it would likely be for a shock kill. I'd rather we pivot the character into a place where he's visible, has a distinct role and can be shown doing real good for his community. Not to mention this gives Metropolis itself a bit more definition. You could also juxtapose him with another of DC's famous DAs, Harvey Dent. Much as Gotham is usually portrayed as a place where most everyone is corrupt and even people like Dent are eventually broken, in Metropolis people like Jose build themselves up and manage to keep it together.

I dunno. I can't think of a lot of Latino characters at DC and Superman's corner could definitely use that voice in some fashion, but Gangbuster never really clicked with me. There's got to be a way to retool him to work.

Vartox just looked like an adult film star, when i was reading Superman. I would reboot him, as DC's first official adult film star hero.

Perhaps not in Superman, but Nightwing has had run-ins with a certain latina who seemingly wanted him to have his way with her.

    Maxima

In this version, Maxima has no interest in Superman whatsoever but the Almerac council does and wants him to be her consort. She tries to convince him to join her at first but after he rebuffs her and she starts to rebel against the council. She's more of a neutral character.

Reboot John Henry and Kon once they're done mucking with continuity. Take them both out of Reign and give them separate beginnings. Scrap the Johns Lex Jr stuff and make Kon a non Kryptonian with pure TTK, scrap the Jimenez "Mr. Lang" stuff for Steel. Have him as the adopted guardian for Nat and make his armor repurposed from the Superlex armor. Kon has no human identity and Steel works as Clark's scientific right hand. Superboy operates from the west coast, Steel operates from the tesseract fortress seen as Jersey City's second moon.
I like the first half of that (I do like Kon later developing a human identity, having a life outside of heroism, but not right away). I'd be very interested in new ideas on origins for them, other than Reign. Don't want Steel as Clark's right-hand man, though. He needs to be a primary hero, not a sidekick, IMO. Working on developing a good supporting cast for him (not Clark's old supporting cast or spinoff heroes) would be a good thing.

Basically, I want to combine the Silver Age scientist with Corporate Lex... but making the latter aspect contrast with its original real world inspiration, as Donald Trump is frankly too stupid to be a good villain and too shallow to be an engaging character. Some elements of that will remain out of necessity, but hopefully not too many.
I kind of like the idea of him as a very evil Elon Musk. Including the pettiness (Pedo Guy actions, etc.) and the fanbase.

Hmmm or... The Almerac council sends Maxima to Earth to find a husband.
Maxima meets Kal-El and decides she likes him.
Maxima starts flirting with him and spending a lot of time with him.
After a particularly romantic night where Kal-El ends up in her bed, Maxima asks him to be her king... and he says no.
Maxima goes ballistic but gets recalled to Almerac shortly after.
The council's docs notice Maxima got preg and decide producing an heir is good enough... for now.

Hes Superman from the porn dimension/universe and they are allies until he tries to sleep with Lois and Lana and all other Superman love interests lol

Another idea, Vartox is the real name of Morgan Edge and owns Galaxy Communications where they own cable companies on multiple planets and galaxies.

    Kon-El, Conner Kent, The Superboy/Scion

He’s one of my favorite characters, and I’ve had this “amalgamated” idea of combining his different iterations for a while.

Cadmus creates Subject 13 as an insurance policy for the government in the event of Superman’s death; because of the intergalactic threats Earth faces, there’s a genuine effort to make sure they have some kinder backup plan. Lex Luthor is brought in to do most of the work with the science using his Brainiac-imbued 12th level intelligence, and even though he’s closely watched, he infiltrates it’s “programming” phase and implants a “Manchurian Candidate” sleeper program.

Superboy is a modified human/Kryptonian hybrid, and effectively designed to overcome the issues suffered by the B-0 (Bizarro) prototypes Luthor himself had developed long ago - the human side allows for a stable base organism, while the Kryptonian side supplies the energy absorption and redirection aspect that fuels Superman's powers. Subject 13’s powers are the result of what Kryptonian powers can be replicated (but use solar energy inefficiently in comparison and take longer to develop) and mental powers - TTK - that can be imbued and powered more efficiently by the Kryptonian cells. His “programming” is actually more about making sure he has some understanding about the outside world (so he has a broad factoid knowledge base like YJ Superboy) but also about allowing him to use his TTK at an expert intuitive level - it looks red when his “programming” is being used... and would be blue if the programming ever failed and he had to manually utilize it...

It should be noted that the Superboy is so freakishly expensive and delicate an project that he effectively can’t be replicated himself without massive changes (for which I’m saving Match for later) - Subject 13 has that number because he’s the 13th iteration, and he’s paid for by the same international apparatus that funds Justice League International (so it’s the only project in the world paid for by NATO + China + Russia, etc.)...

...Which makes it very annoying when Subject 13 gets released before he’s done “cooking.”

He’s freed by Impulse and Robin III when they’re investigating a crooked Cadmus scientist (like in YJ), but very quickly after being Fred, his highly impressionable young mind becomes consumed by pop-culture (his stasis resting without sleep ends up happening while cable TV is on, so... yeah.)

He then goes through four phases:

    Phase 1: The Kid
This is basically a mix of 90’s Superboy with a pinch of New 52 Superboy; he’s a colorful, enthusiastic, and often cocky showboat superhero in a colorful suit with a trademarked leather jacket, who’s TTK is capable of a grab bag of powers beyond the expected Kryptonian set, which isn’t fully developed yet. He becomes best buds with Tim and Bart, becomes aware of and eventually reciprocates Cassie Sandmark’s crush, and has a decent career, until...

Phase 2: Project Lionel Luthor is forced to activate the “Manchurian Superboy” earlier than he wished because of Lois’s investigations, and uses the brainwashed and taciturn Superboy as his main muscle/bodyguard/enforcer. Despite intending to use him as just a weapon, Lex has some tiny inkling of paternal instinct crop up with Superboy, which allows Superboy to slowly fight off some of his instructions, before Cassie manages to finally hold him down while newly arrived Miss Martian manages to break the programming - *all* of it...

Phase 3: Smallville’s Savior ...which leaves Superboy struggling to use what Kryptonian powers he has as his only tools for a while, while also struggling to come to terms with the trauma of his time as Lex’s weapon. Superman takes charge, giving him both his Kryptonian name and his human name and hooking him up with Pete Ross as a foster father in Smallville, which is growing beyond a small town. he wears the blue jeans and T-shirt look here. Conner slowly regains his confidence, his command of his TTK, and grows into a more mature person here. He also ends up becoming the second Superboy of the Legion of Superhperes here (Clark, Kon, and Jon all take a turn at it.) Finally, he enters...

Phase 4: The Scion Conner matures into a young man, and ends up as sometimes cosmic adventurer and sometimes conventional superhero, wearing a mix of his two most famous costumes - his shirt is a colorful spandex-y look, but her wears cargo pants ala Jon Moxley (‘cause I want him to) and a leather jacket that’s actually festooned with mementos. He also develops a relationship with Miss Martian here. And, having some complicated perspectives of Lex Luthor, he ends up becoming a protector and big brother of Lex’s daughter Lena when she ends up becoming Brainiac 2.0...

I love this, and would only change a few things in my version.

Questions about his powers= so does his TTK resemble more his original TTK, his new 52 TTK, a mix of those 2,or more like the adult Titans of Tomorrow Conners TK?

Also when Ms Martian wipes his brainwashing and "stunts" his TTK for a bit, does he drop to levels like he had in the kesel run where he carried a yellow wrist shield or down to YJ shows power levels, or more?

I would add Hawaii in somehow also.

His TTK starts out looking and acting like his New 52 version mixed with the Titans Tomorrow version (with the red coloration, so that it’s more menacing when he’s Luthor’s enforcer), then becomes more like his original TTK after he breaks free (and is blue, kind of liked how his TTK looked towards the end of his first solo run).

And when his programming gets broken by Miss Martian, he ends up with the YJ cartoon power set, but he slowly has his Kryptonian powers develop more (heat vision is a major development when he gets it) and slowly starts remastering his TTK.

And Hawaii would be part of his Phase One story.

    Match

I’ll be blunt; I kind of hate making Match a Bizarro duplicate. I’m generally cold on most Bizarros, period, but especially with Match, who both had a very different look and style.

Match isn’t the bad photocopy of Superboy; he’s the standard issue firearm version of Superboy's weapon prototype. His programming is equally advanced in tactical capabilities and power usage, but he’s only about a third Kryptonian, as that cuts the costs down almost 75%, and another 10% drops down when you don’t give him the “slice of life” education they incorporated into Superboy.

He was created by The Agenda, which *was* a genetics group created by Lex’s ex-wife The Contessa (insert jokes about her losing Superboy in the divorce). The idea was to mass produce him, as it was Pre-Flashpoint.... btu after a decent but undecided showing against Superboy, the Agenda discovered that he would suffer from Bizarro-like degeneration without proper treatment at consistent intervals... which tipped his price scale into the negative for them.

They tried killing him as damaged goods, but he’d developed enough to start mirroring Superboy's “smarter than you look” phase, catches on, and makes his escape.

He ends up teamed teamed with the defecting Amanda Spence, who keeps him functioning, and develops a complex relationship with him she hates Superboy as something that cost her father his life, and was one of the people ruthlessly cutting corners on Match’s design... but slowly strats to see him as a person.

Yeah, let's not talk about the character that raped Nightwing.

No, she absolutely is not. Supergirl and Power Girl are very different characters. This is about as good as combining GLs or Flashes into one.

They're extremely different characters with a similar starting point. Kara would be a terrible Power Girl. Anyone who has read her adventures knows that. Did you just read her wikipedia article or something?
