But...with all the "appreciation" threads, why no "Crime Syndicate" one?

Probably because they're, er, criminally underused, if you'll excuse the pun. I've got an idea for a Crime Syndicate series that basically rips off Alan Moore's Supreme by regularly "flashing back" to fake historical adventures of the characters written and drawn to look like the Golden Age, Silver Age and so forth, in the middle of the main, contemporary story, thereby creating the illusion of a history for the Syndicate that consists of 80+ years, rather than merely intermittent appearances in the League's titles.
