The X-Men franchise took a dive around the time X-Statix came out. Every x-title, besides X-Force/X-Statix was a terrible read. I'm definitely going to jump on this.

But, that always planned on finding an affordable copy omnibus is already so eXpensive! And I haven't even read it. This is one of those peculiar comic book crises. I'm not even sure which sin I'm committing to?

The whole X-Statix thing happened right after I stopped reading comics in the 00s, so I'm excited to give this a shot. Allred's one of the few artists who was doing something unique in the 90s whose art doesn't look like crap now. (see: X-Men Blue #36 variant)
