Trump reminds Lindsey Graham, ‘I am the boss’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) probably assumed that if he showed sycophantic loyalty toward Donald Trump, he’d be rewarded for his servility. The South Carolina Republican almost certainly knew that his toadying posture would make him the target of ridicule, especially given the severity of his pre-election condemnations of Trump, but Graham was willing to pay the price because he expected to have the kind of access and influence others lacked.

For his trouble, the GOP senator has very little to show for his efforts. When Trump settled on a disastrous new policy in northern Syria, not only was Graham’s advice ignored, but the White House didn’t even bother to give him a heads-up on the president’s decision.

Graham, not surprisingly, is furious. Trump, as the Associated Press reported, is indifferent to the South Carolinian’s dissatisfaction.

The golf-and-politics alliance between President Donald Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham frayed Wednesday over Syria, with the South Carolina Republican threatening to become the White House’s “worst nightmare” unless more is done to protect Kurdish fighters against Turkish attacks.

Trump, in turn, suggested Graham focus on his job leading the Senate Judiciary Committee and reminded him who’s in a position to threaten whom.

“I am the boss,” Trump said.

Trump is threatening to sue CNN. If the legal claims in his letter are any indication, I would think CNN will want him to sue and have a court decide this one.

Every time Trump tries to sue, he is at risk for Discovery. Trump's too dumb not to realize that he should stay quiet and keep his head down.

SEE IT: Shaq says he’ll pay full-year rent to Atlanta boy who became paralyzed in a shooting

all it a Shaq attack of kindness.

NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is proving that he’s not only one of the world’s biggest stars in basketball — in both size and talent. He also has one of the biggest hearts.

Shaq announced that he’ll help to pay for the housing of a 12-year-old boy who became paralyzed after a tragic shooting in Atlanta earlier this year.

On Aug. 17, Isaiah Payton was leaving a high school football game when a stray bullet hit him in the spine, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. He’ll now require long-term care as a result of his injuries.

He hasn’t been able to leave the hospital because his current house isn’t accessible to people with disabilities. But when the Basketball Hall of Famer heard about the story, he reached out to his mother and offered to help.
“We found her a house,” he told NBC-affiliated WXIA-TV. “I’m going to pay her rent for the year, and I’m going to give her some furniture, and it’s sad because her son is paralyzed from the chest down and no mother should have to go through that.”

Don't worry, you won't have to. Whoever the next Republican president is will be twice as bad.

I have to laugh at this. Lindsey Graham deserves this for being stupid enough to think that Trump actually reciprocates any feelings of loyalty. What these guys don't realized is that Trump doesn't operate under the checks and balances of our government. He still thinks he's a CEO running a company, or worse yet a dictator like his pals lil' Rocket Man and Putin.

Graham can offer all the guidance he wants but Trump's gonna do whatever he pleases not matter what. They are setting a precedent for someone even worse than Trump to come along and abuse the power of the office of president.

Yes and she has no business being there. She’s one of the few people who’s unfavorables stayed at a high level despite losing an election. You want to see any moderates who are looking to quietly move on from Trump decide to consolidate and reunify the Republicans? You want to see progressives get livid and abandon Democrats for years to come? Then bring her back. Idk why on Earth anyone would want to give the person who lost bids at the President in two massive upsets and remains incredibly unpopular to jump back in. It would reverse literally every advantage the Democrats have on Trump. She’s like the one person in the world that can turn the clock back to 2016 and the lesser of two evils bullshit

Don't worry, I'm pretty certain she has no interest or desire to try again. Twice was enough.

    Shut up Tulsi.

Great! Thank you @HillaryClinton. You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain. From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a ...
... concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and ...
... powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose.

It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly.

    Where's an adult?

    Oh, that will do Booker.
