I was watching a video about the 20 times The Simpsons predicted the Future, including the one involving Trump being President. In that episode, Lisa Simpson becomes President after him. Lisa is a diminutive of Elizabeth.

The only way that Prediction can be any more prescience is if Elizabeth Warren becomes President.

Trump is ruining the dinner tonight with an angry rant that Russia should be let in to the summit.

From the looks of the local Fox affiliate's evening news, Joe Walsh is in on the GOP primary.

Guess time will tell if it is even remotely serious or just an involved publicity stunt.

Good. A trainwreck GOP primary will at least be a nice relaxing vacation from the trainwreck Dem primary.

Does Liz have a low life brother who’s in a Jimmy Buffet cover band? If that’s the case I’m gonna freak out.

I’m actually kinda scared of the idea of Walsh becoming a legit candidate. He’s just as racist and just as much of a conspiracy nut as Trump but unlike Trump he can string two coherent sentences together. Trump has galvanized white nationalist but his clear dementia and narcissistic behavior are at least somewhat of an embarrassment for the right (even though they’d never admit it). I think Walsh can increase the normalization of the racism and insanity we’ve seen in recent years if he’s given a national stage.

Definitely distractions from Trump. Problem is, his low IQ followers who don't know any better would consider that a damn good idea.

While more than half of Americans rejected socialism in a recent Gallup poll, 43% surveyed said some version of it would be good for the country. Well, Trumpublicans certainly won't like that!

This appears to be stuff that wasn't meant to be leaked, so it's probably not a distraction. The best-case scenario is that an ignorant President was spitballing ideas.

More for the Trump is just nuts fire.

Trump reportedly suggested nuking hurricanes multiple times.

Funny, but on a serious note to no one's surprise Trump continues to be worthless at the G7

He's also floating the idea that the next G7 be hosted at his resort.

    Trump’s Strategy: Distract, Divert, Repeat

President Donald Trump was facing a potentially very bad news cycle, with special counsel Robert Mueller preparing to testify before Congress and a past friend, Jeffrey Epstein, charged with sexually molesting underage girls. So he went on a rant about four minority, female members of Congress, calling on them at rallies and in tweets to "go back" to their countries of origin.

It was a classic Trump move: distract, divert, repeat. When a presidential problem surfaces, the president finds a way to move the problem out of the public eye, relieving pressure on him to solve the actual problem.
But two and a half years into his tumultuous presidency, Trump is finding that problems at home and abroad are mounting, getting harder to obscure. And with the presidential campaign heating up, the president is getting daily criticism from two dozen people who want his job.

Trump is trying to get people to look away from the crisis of the moment, but "We're running out of places to look," says Vanessa Beasley, a professor and expert on presidential rhetoric at Vanderbilt University. And while distraction has been Trump's M.O. since the beginning of his presidency, "something is different about this moment," with Trump unable to distract the nation from the question of how to respond to the recent mass shootings, she adds.

Even before separate killers gunned down dozens in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, Trump's presidential to-do list and personal troubles were building.
Internationally, the president is facing the economic and diplomatic complications of the Brexit process in the U.K. as the country attempts to leave the European Union. Long-standing tension between India and Pakistan escalated when India this week moved to remove special status granting autonomy to the disputed territory of Kashmir – a particularly worrisome development since both countries are nuclear-armed.

The nation is in a trade battle with China, which this week took the dramatic move of canceling all agricultural purchases from the U.S., a hit to American farmers.
Trump faces all kinds of setbacks in court, ranging from a lawsuit to prevent California from demanding tax returns from all presidential primary candidates to a lawsuit by the House Judiciary Committee, which is seeking grand jury testimony that was redacted in Mueller's report. Trump's own intelligence officials are warning that Russia is continuing efforts to interfere with the U.S. elections. So many high-level officials have resigned from Trump's administration that now, more than a dozen officials leading federal agencies are there only in an "acting" capacity.
And so on and so forth

Talking about how the plan is to remove social security and medicare benefits when Trump wins?

I really hope the Dems just repeat that over and over again from now until the elections. Over and over and over. Conversation is about puppies? Make it about Republicans stealing social security. The idiots are on the record...hold them to it.

Given the meltdowns Joe Walsh became famous for where he irrationally screamed at people just chatting with him... I'd love to see him and Trump escalate to that and embarrass them both.

    ...

    Goddamn it.

Joe Arpaio is a gin-blossomed racist ghost that Arizona needs to exorcise. Just when I f***ing think he's gone... he's indicted, he's charged, he's sentenced, he's voted out of office... he's just so old that he's done with a career because F*** he's going to be EIGHTY-EIGHT GODDAMNED YEARS OLD...

He comes back like a bad case of motherf***ing herpes to demonize Hispanics and try to ride racism and the vote of bigoted old ass voters out in Sun City to victory in an election.

And now, there are going to be Trump rallies in Arizona where he comes out to high-five the octogenarian piece of garbage and fearmonger about immigrants some more.

Trump is giving a press conference and I have no idea what he is talking about. I gues he's trying to make an argument for letting Russia back in to the G7.
