Well the right needs to decide whether it wants the left to be a bunch of dangerous radicals hellbent on destroying America, or overly PC clowns that can't get their **** together long enough to finish a sentence without stepping over somebody's snowflake sensibilities. It's all part of the fascist playbook of painting their enemies as simultaneously enough of a threat to warrant a violent response, yet harmless enough that any conflict will be quick and easy to win.

Holy crap. It seems like a parody but.....I can't dismiss that it could be real. The right is evil but damned if the left can't find some profound ways to be annoying as hell. (It's sad that it's plausible to think it could be real)

The DSA has been spiraling for a while. Most of the founders have left the group over some of the new issues being put in their platform. (Support of BDS was the breaking point for most of the people who left, but yeah, that probably is real.)

Joe Biden's campaign says he misspoke when he said 'poor kids' are just as bright as 'white kids'

Biden's verbal slip up comes as he is campaigning in Iowa during the state fair weekend, where a recent poll shows he still maintains a lead over the rest of the field. Biden has a reputation for making misstatements on the trail and has even called himself "a gaffe machine."

"I am a gaffe machine, but my God what a wonderful thing compared to a guy who can't tell the truth," Biden said in December, in reference to President Donald Trump.

The people in the video don't come off well but at the end of the day that sort of thing is harmless. It's only some kind of damning evidence if you buy into that whole conspiracy of PC millennials trying to destroy America with gender pronouns pushed by right wing circles these days. And it is curious that conservatives rely almost exclusively on videos, many of them heavily doctored, to get their message across these days, because their audience isn't receptive to anything that requires effort on their part.

Videos have the benefit of showing what someone is saying and doing, so it can be helpful as a way to convey information, especially when someone is doing something dumb. Obviously videos can be altered, and there are times when videos present an incomplete picture.

Conservatives do have plenty of other sources of news than videos. Talk radio is immensely popular, and there are quite a few right-wing podcasts, as well as plethora of right-wing magazines and blogs.

Looking at how many Facebook friends show Young Turks or Now This videos, it also does not appear that Republicans are uniquely likely to share videos.
