His defense says the reason he did all those bad things for years was because ... the Russians he's associated with hacked him.

Prosecution asked if they can include that admission into evidence for the November trial.

Judge said ... yup. It's a matter of record now that Stone admits to having connections to the Russians named in the case. Which officially contradicts his statements to the FBI and in public.

Also, the House subpoenaed the Mueller Grand Jury documents and the judge that is petitioned is expected to rule today or tomorrow. Members of the House GOP are against getting the evidence because they say that Articles of Impeachment aren't in place, so they can't grab the evidence yet.

I can't tell if Rick Perry is supposed to be their fall guy or their alibi.

Sounds to me like in Trump's addled brain, he connected him to his need to have the Bidens investigated. Perry only mentioned their gas and oil as a resource etc. So it's probably two things. Trump needs another body to throw under the bus and he forgot that Perry wanted him to talk with the Ukraine about energy resources.

Now is the time for the GOP to shut up or put up. It's out in the open now that Mitt Romney is trying to persuade them to do something about Trump and vote for impeachment. I'm not all that confident he'll get the 2/3 vote. but this current issue with the Kurds is something that will cost lives all for the sake of Trump's business interest.

And therein lies the problem. If Republicans shrugged their collective shoulders from disinterest after little kids, little homegrown kids were mowed down at Sandy Hook years ago, what makes anyone think the GOP will give even half a **** about faceless foreigners getting slaughtered in a country thousands of miles away? I suspect Romney is alone on an island while the rest of the party will kowtow out of fear of Trump and not take that vote.

Bipartisan senators weigh new laws to block foreign interference in elections on social media

WASHINGTON — The Senate Intelligence Committee issued a bipartisan report Tuesday calling for Congress to consider new laws designed to prevent foreign interference on social media — the culmination of a two-year investigation into how Russian intelligence agencies sought to manipulate American public opinion in the 2016 election.

The report, released by the committee's chairman, Richard Burr, a North Carolina Republican, and Mark Warner, a Virginia Democrat, recommends that new legislation should be considered, including requirements that social media companies publicly disclose the identities of those who purchase political advertisements, something television stations have long been required to do.

According to your link, one of the three seems to be cooperating with police.

Jacquerious Mitchell was in custody at a hospital and the other two suspects were being sought, Assistant Chief Avery Moore said at a news conference Tuesday. The two fugitives are believed to be armed and dangerous, he said.

Jacquerious Mitchell told police that Brown shot him in the chest after Green and Brown got into an altercation during the drug deal, and that Green then shot Brown twice, Moore said.

Mets, do you seriously think that someone who's not just a drug dealer but deals in that much of it would put himself out there by testifying in such a high profile case? Just in case: If there was some sort of immunity involved that would have been big news from the start, and not pop up this late in the game.
