This is such B.S. Wasn't there at least one Russian source from the report that was later found dead? I don't think Putin would have had someone bumped off for no reason. I've seen other speculation that there were probably more

It's amazing the length and breadth Republicans are willing to go in order to coddle and protect Trump who'd throw any of them under the nearest Greyhound without a second's thought. Of course, when it comes to Caramel Caligula, loyalty is a one way street, and it only goes HIS way.

That's their strategy now. They don't have to make a point or even make sense, they just have to be OUTRAGED! Outraged at Democrats who are the enemy of America and conspiracy and other whatevers. It's tired and stale and I hate that it works.

Meanwhile, Republican leadership is MIA regarding climate change forcing the entire planet to suffer because they see profits as more important than the planet.

    ------
"Europe heatwave: French city of Bordeaux hits record temperature"

On Tuesday, Meteo France registered 41.2C (106.1F) in the south-western city, breaking a 2003 record of 40.7C.

Forecasters predict a record-breaking run across Europe this week, including Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.

A World Meteorological Organization (WMO) spokeswoman said the heatwaves bore "the hallmark of climate change".

"As we saw in June they are becoming more frequent, they're starting earlier and they're becoming more intense," Claire Nullis added. "It's not a problem that's going to go away."

An intense heatwave swept through areas of Europe last month, making it the hottest June on record.

France set an all-time high-temperature record of 46C, according to the WMO, and new June highs were set in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Andorra, Luxembourg, Poland, and Germany.

"So there’s the whole world on one side, literally, at least trying to do something or other, not enough maybe, although some places are going pretty far, like Denmark, couple of others; and on the other side, in splendid isolation, is the country led by the most dangerous organisation in human history, which is saying, ‘We’re not part of this. In fact, we’re going to try to undermine it.’

"We’re going to maximise the use of fossil fuels - could carry us past the tipping point. We’re not going to provide funding for - as committed in Paris, to developing countries that are trying to do something about the climate problems. We’re going to dismantle regulations that retard the impact, the devastating impact, of production of carbon dioxide and, in fact, other dangerous gases - methane, others."

Mr Trump, who has previously called climate change a hoax invented by the Chinese, signed an executive order overhauling Obama-era rules directed at tackling climate change.

The controversial order seeks to suspend, rescind or review more than a half-dozen measures in an effort to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels. "

Fox's flash poll just blew up in their faces. Asking a room full of REGISTERED Republicans:

"How many of you think the Democrats should give up the farce of impeachment?" *no hands raised*

"How many think this makes President Trump innocent?" *no hands raised*

"Uh ... how many think this investigation was a waste of taxpayer money?" *no hands raised*

"Look, I think we all beleive now Trump should be removed from office."

"Well, that's not one of my questions, here's the next one--"

    "Well it should be!"

    *cuts to new talking head*

    It should be noted:

GOP talking head pointed out how Strzok and Page criticized Trump in their text messages.

Mueller testified that they also sent "nearly 3 times more" negative texts about Clinton and Sanders.

Oh, I missed that part. Great example of dishonesty by omission. First time I've heard this stat.

It was redacted. In fact, Mueller unmasked 3 areas during GOP questioning. It's why the Rs changed questions because Mueller was in the right when it came to revealing redacted parts. Those other 2 areas were Junior was in constant contact with Trump and a Russian spy in Trump Tower, and that they arrested 2 Russian spies leaving Trump Tower that worked for the NRA, one agreed to testify for immunity (we already talked about her).

2009, by my estimation. They stopped having even the desire to govern or work with the other party, and began fomenting conspiracy theories as a standard tactic around this time with Birtherism and lies about the ACA. It then became practice, and they've kept it up for the past decade. It escalated more and more until by 2013, they wanted to shut down the government, but didn't know what they wanted to leverage out of it, and by 2016... well, they wanted power back so desperately they were willing to have Russia start getting in bed with the Trump campaign and the NRA and not even blink about it. Even when the FBI started to throw flags to cut it out. The funding kept coming from the Kochs, the Mercers, the DeVos family, the Adelsons, and other wealthy donors who are only now starting to balk at funding the madness beyond even the plutocracy they desired.

As someone who's been documenting how the fringe became the norm... those were the moments.

"The Trump campaign lied to cover up the uses of stolen electronic data to mold their strategy using a Russian proxy." -- Robert Mueller. July 24th, 2019

    That's impeachment right there folks.

Another thing that I thought was pretty glaring at the time but seems to have been forgotten is how Jared was looking for some back channel communication with Russia. He does it to this day. No one knows how often or when he talks to MSB for example, do they? Probably some Russian contacts too and AFAIK he has no official title. Neither does the indicted Roger Stone.

Nunes is about to push Mueller on Jared.
