Texas Republican women think Trump wasn’t being racist — because ‘he didn’t say a color’

On Tuesday, CNN reporter Randi Kaye interviewed a group of eight Texas GOP women about President Donald Trump’s racist attacks on four black and brown congresswomen who have criticized him. And they broadly refused to accept that his behavior was racist.

“How many of you don’t think what the president said was racist, raise your hand?” said Kaye, continuing in a voiceover, “These eight Republican women from Dallas don’t see anything wrong with President Trump telling four Democratic Congresswomen to go back to where they came from.

In 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, as well as 2018, "Crazy/Stupid Republican of the Day" published profiles of Steve Pearce, the sitting U.S. House Representative from New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District, Pearce is the guy who advised furloughed workers during the 2013 Government Shutdown to just take out payday loans until the whole thing blew over, has written musings about how wives need to remember the importance of “submitting to their husbands”, and actually submitted a bill to drug test welfare recipients on the federal level, in spite of how horribly those programs fail at the state level. As well as, y’know, a pretty consistently terrible voting record. Oh, and back in 2011, Pearce told a group of Republicans at a conference that he thought the idea of men descending from apes was crazy, and thought it much more likely that they were descended from sheep. So there’s that.

Pearce won re-election in the 2016 elections with 62% of the vote against Democrat Merrie Soules, thanks in part to the +5 lean New Mexico’s second has in favor of Republicans. Back in January of this year, there was a bit of an uproar after several members of the GOP were moving to take funding away from the Office of Congressional Ethics, because at this point, the Republican Party isn’t even giving the pretense that they have any. And one of the people leading that charge was Rep. Steve Pearce, who actually defended the insisting that his third (yes THIRD) attempt to take away the funding for the OCE would not “gut” the organization, as was being reported. Other, more Democratic members of Congress pointed out that it would actually “kill” the OCE, because they weren’t mincing words.

In his final term in Congress. Pearce missed more votes than any other member of the New Mexico delegation in Congress by far. https://kfoxtv.com/news/local/new-me...er-of-absences :
Steve Pearce decided not to run for re-election to Congress in 2018, and opted to instead run to be the next Governor of New Mexico at the age of 72. What really didn’t help his cause? Someone unearthed video of Steve Pearce speaking at a Republican event back in 2008 where he railed against same-sex marriage, warning that it might lead to “polymorphism” (whatever that means) and that liberal politicians then “can marry everybody in California with AIDS”. If that doesn’t sound homophobic enough, Pearce continued grousing over the idea that healthcare funding might in any way go towards patients being treated for AIDS.

Not surprisingly, he only pulled down 43% of the vote against Michelle Lujan-Grisham, and now has shunted off to be the ancient chair of the New Mexico GOP. We hope he can only impotently watch as his state trends more and more blue.

Catching up with people that aren't Donald Trump, but are totally connected to him, let's meet his former Campaign Chairwoman for Ohio!

Ohio Trump campaign chair Kathy Miller: “I don’t think there was any racism until Obama got elected.” She concluded with: “I think it’s good that Mr. Trump is pointing that out.”

This racist c**t resigned after this video was aired.

Catch the look on the interviewer’s face.

North Carolina's 9th Congressional District is still waiting for the special election to have a member of the House, following GOP candidate Mark Harris having campaign staffers seizing absentee ballots to change votes, or just throw them away without being filled out.

Final matchup is between the guy who probably won, even though the initial "count" had him down 900 or so votes, Democrat Don McCready, and new Republican candidate Dan Bishop, one of the geniuses who wrote North Carolina's disastrous anti-LGBTQ bill, HB2.

National Republicans are in a panic about how this is gonna go, and have dumped $4 million into this special election, to desperately try and hang onto a seat they've held for the past 66 years.

Well, of course those harpies didn’t think that way....they’re all white. I continue to be amazed at how women are all too willing to defend a thuggish, misogynist knuckledragger like Trump.

Oh! Then you have a ton of data to share to confirm this. Let's see it.

In addition, I'll look forward to your explanation of how that 30% of the electorate of Florida was caught in traffic or something on election night for Gillum. After that I have dozens of other progressives who lost you'll need to explain also.

Please try and realize this fantasy you have is harmful to beating Republicans. It really is.

    Yikes!
The problem was most pronounced in counties and election precincts with a history of racial oppression and voter suppression. In such areas voters were kicked off rolls at a rate 40 percent higher than places which have protected voting rights more consistently.
Shelby County v. Holder is not one of the better decisions the Supreme Court has made. I'm sure the conservative majority pretty much knew this would happen.

Not all women. But yeah, I never could understand any woman with an ounce of sense and a smidgen of empathy for others, could be a supporter of Trump. Obviously those who place 'racism' above everything else would support him.

Man, I'm white, live in a red state, and I've known Donald Trump was racist for decades. He was brought up on racial discrimination charges in housing during the Nixon administration. We just got a phone call where Nixon and Reagan shared a chuckle while using racial slurs about African Americans, and if Nixon thought you were racist... you're pretty goddamned racist. Then you have the Central Park Five, various comments about Native Americans, Jews... biographers acknowledging that he uses the n-word and talked about not wanting black accountants... this was the stuff before 2015...

So anyone who can't even pause to consider that he said something racist might, dare I say it, themselves have a problem with being racist themselves.

I never thought much, before the 2016 election, about how racist Trump was. I mostly thought of how awful a businessman he was and how corrupt he was. Putting it all together, you couldn't ask fro a more miserably horrible person to be in the White House.

The lies about charitable donations to organizations that he never gives the money to... hell, his son Eric has continued the tradition and lied about donating money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. They will lie about giving money to children with cancer for a tax break they don't need.

They're terrible human beings, and then there's those f***ers up in Trump Tower.

To be perfectly fair, the idea that women are somehow naturally more compassionate and empathetic than men is itself quite a misogynistic stereotype, as if adult women are childlike simpletons who can express only facile ideas of love and kindness, rather than complex individuals primarily concerned with advancing their own self-interest and capable of inventing absurd rationalizations for any behavior which serves that end. At the end of the day, white women benefit just as much from racism as white men do, and form their political attitudes accordingly.

I was shocked when I read about Reagan's comment. It was a horrible thing to say under any circumstances. But I was never a fan because this man along with Bush broke the back of the Black community by pushing through crack and also giving millions of illegal immigrants amnesty. Both of these things harmed the Black community tremedously. So now that he's been outed as a racist maybe we can reverse his policies and send those people he gave amnesty to back?

Again. A good number of people are afraid of the Democrats because they break the law and get away with it. Like Comey and the Senators that crossed the border and escorted illegals into the United States. That is a crime. A week or so ago a couple of United States soldiers were arrested for doing the same thing.

The Democrats are helping the Iranians who just gave women 30 years in prison simply because she refused to cover up their face. The Dems love Afghanistan and had turn a blind eye towards their ancient practice of having sex with boys. And of course they could care less about the Arabs that still enslave Black Africans on the African continent.

And if they really care about Black folk they would create a campaign to drive the Arabs out of the African continent because that are an invaded force and are not indigenous to the African continent.

Despite overwelming evidence to the contrary many people still do not believe that the ancient Egyptians were Black. Shockingly some even think that they were White. Imo if the ancient Egyptians were white Egypt would not be a arab controlled country today because the white people would have taken it back a long time ago.
Where is that Billy Madison clip.....

OMG, who knows, maybe they'll START THROWING PEOPLE IN CAMPS!!!

Your whole post, without irony... Democrats "break the law and get away with it". First off, when they actually do something, they're charged. Check folks like Corrine Brown out. Dollars to donuts, all of what you listed that you're on about are likely the fever dream of folks over at the Daily Caller, Breitbart, or folks gullible enough to share it that you take as reality.

Remind me again, how many current Republican members of the House are under federal indictment? How many members of Trump's Cabinet have been forced to resign due to ethical lapses, or charged with a crime?

Y'know what, based on the last two paragraphs you typed, please, I'd rather you'd not elaborate.
