Hickman: I am on my way but there is a big wall stoping me from making a great book...
JDW: so I want the story like this and this.
Hickman: * why did I agreed to do this, I am going to make this man fanfiction and get hated by the x fans. *
Something like that? So It looks like we are doom xD
I think/hope Hickman is important enough to get over White.
X-Boards in July: Hickman-sama-senpai, save us! Let us suckle mere droplets of life from thy teat! We have been dying for four long years!
X-Boards in December: Hickman? Haven't heard that name in years... Best X-Book rn is Morning Glories season 3 LMFAO
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
Ok, I'll come out and say it: This had the worse change of leadership I have ever read.
Ever since he came on the team, Havok has been a constant and someone of delusional recollections of history. Again where was this "downfall of the X-Men" he keeps alluding to?
And frankly this change feels way too forced. For the last few issues, the girls and Jamie have given no reason/or had any agency to change the current operation. If this was to pave the way for Dani to take charge for WotR then why did she not raise some concerns for Scott like "emotionally compromised" or anything??
Why is Havok the sole reason for dissent or opposite opinions? When you change things over just one person complaining and complaining then yes, you should step down from the bigger decisions but this way was just so bad.
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
Awww. Such negativity. Was I the only one utterly amused by Scott/Logan being so efffin' cool about being kinda shoved aside? That's basically the exact opposite of how Jean/Kitty handled things over in Disassembled, lol.
And what the hell was the point of Karma saying that Magneto’s not real?
Joseph is not immune to telepaths, where did this come from?
I’m actually stunned how utterly bizarre this was.
I reckon the run so far is deliberately confusing. It is meant to convey a sense of things running out of control. It is a kind of counterbalance to the Age Of X-Man stuff, and I think it is working, particularly with the dark feel.
The Wolfsbane death is very obviously going to be explained in the War Of The Realms mini, and with her Asgardian links it may not be as bad as it seems.
This, for me, is still a great read, and I'm sure some of these loose ends are going to be brought together. A lot of what he's been doing has already been brought together into this book, and I've enjoyed that journey so far. I see no reason to think he isn't writing the comic this way for a reason.
Certainly I'm prepared to give the guy a break, and the benefit of the doubt while I enjoy the ride.
Well, I wasn't a fan of this issue. I'm confused by a couple choices and overall feel as if the book took a nosedive.
