    Default VHS Appreciation

Who here still uses and collects VHS?

I've got a DVD/VHS combo player so I plan to be watching them for a while to come. Just yesterday I found a copy of Swordkill, a 1980's action flick where a 17th century samurai is frozen and thawed out to face the mean streets of 1980's L.A plus a Danzig music video for a $1au each!

When I was in New York last month I found the premiere episode of Knight Rider, BurgerKing kid's club Ninja turtles VHS and some English dub Sailor Moon VHS with the "sailor says" messages at the end.

I love the oddities and rarities you can find. What are your faves?

What are YOUR most precious memories of VHS when you were younger? Was it the movie, the cover art or something else?

Love vhs. Have tons of Disney ones and 80s cartoons vhs compete with the big box fhe (family home entertainment) cartoon releases like gijoe and transformers.

Found a few videos on youtube of vhs tape collectors.

Disney collection. (love this guys neon mickey vhs collection. Neon mickey tapes are the white early 80s clamshells by the way.)

I sold almost my entire collecting a few years ago, but I held onto some sentimental favorites. Jurassic Park, which was the first VHS I bought with my own money; Short Circuit 2 and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, both which I got for Christmas and watched almost every day, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I also kept Sphere and The General's Daughter, because I forgot to ship them with the rest
