The way Rosenberg writes Dani and Rhane, you wouldn't think they were once closer than sisters. Matter of fact, Rhane doesn't seem like she's close to anyone, despite that wield hug she gave Logan early on.
And speaking of Prodigy, you would think Xian would give him a call and have him set up a nice safe house with all the fixings. She's rich, b**ch!!

This... was kind of great outside of the preview. Everything about Rosenberg's Hope is wonderful and the story was actually on point. It goes to show that when Rosenberg tightens his focus, the writing is massively improved. When he's writing like everything is breathless like in the main title, there's a problem.

Yeah I very much enjoyed this! Great character work all around and its great seeing the NM clique up and support each other. Scott is at like peak likability. Hope is a badass.

The younger X-Men all slowly abandoning Scott to go protect and look after each other was fun to see. I wonder why Hope and Magik’s little romance got cut, enough background hints in each issue would’ve been enough that an eventual loving hug or kiss shouldn’t be too surprising.
