Well it looks like Jason Aaron may have created a brand new Hyperion, Nighthawk and Power Princess, even through there are already the Hickman's Hyperion, a black Nighthawk (Joaquin Pennyworth) and two Zarda[s] (Power Princess from Earth-712 and Warrior Woman from Battleworld) roaming around.Here's why I think they may be brand new versions: From the narrator, this Hyperion is a teacher instead of a truck driver and apparently he is just learning how to use his power. Nighthawk has the name Kyle Raymond and is definitely not the Kyle Raymond from the Max series who died in that Occupy Avengers title. And by the way its written, this Zarda has a power limitation in the form of a necklace she use to hinder her strength. Plus, just from small sample, she's takes pleasure in fighting that the Zarda from 712 didn't process. She's more like the misconceptions some DC writers handle Wonder Woman.

I'll wait to see how all this plays out before making a decision if I like it or not. I hated the Celestials story and his pre-history Avenger mess, but I was a little entertain with his Vampire story.

I just hope this Zarda is more Power Princess (712) and less Warrior Woman. I can't stand the man-hating/fight-first-talk-later sword-wielding female warrior troupe.

they might not be. Hyperion mentioned memory trouble. but, honestly, it might be best to start fresh (with none of the baggage).

Still, that aside they all do seem kinda interesting. Part of me wishes we got this version right after Secret Wars. You can justify their differences by saying they were somehow folded into this universe like Miles rather than just being stranded here.

How many variants of the Squadron Supreme do we need? Although Hyperion kind of implies that there might've been some kind of mind-wiping or manipulation involved with this variant of the group.

Kinda surprised at the fanservice in that Power Princess scene (not that McGuinness doesn't draw some very tough-looking but gorgeous women).

I'd much rather see a Hyperion Corps vs. Captain Britain Corps than get more versions of the same character.

At different points of time Earth-616 was visited by 5 Hyperions: Grandmaster's one (from Squadron Sinister), Earth-712 one, Hickman's, King Hyperion and Microverse one. This one is the sixth (if he is a new one).
