Given the time of the year (both Passover and Easter) I thought I'd post this in honor of one of the most underrated animated films of all time.

Growing up with a Jewish mom this movie was on heavy rotation. Not to mention imo has the best soundtrack for a non Disney animated feature. Never been very religious but I've heard people talk about how the movie changes alot of stuff from the exodus story. But yea I don't care two shits about that. Hercules crapped all over Greek Mytholoy, I might be mistaken but even Hercules is the Roman way of saying it right? Greeks called him Heracles right? Anyway I still love that movie as it was a childhood favorite. But yea Prince of Egypt is probaly top 5 animated movies all time for me. I love that song Heavens Eyes that Moses father in law sings. Also the wife along with Esmerelda were my childhood animated crushes.
My absolute favorite Hans Zimmer score!
Not to mention the scene where they are walking through the red scene is still visually stunning.
AKA FlashFreak
Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.
Current Pulls: Not a thing!
Love this movie. Fantastic adaptation that preserves the mythic quality while building strong characters. The music and animation and script are all excellent.
Excellent movie and soundtrack. I liked that the movie really embraced showing the grandeur and impressiveness of Ancient Egypt. Visually there is quite a lot to like about how everything was presented.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."
(All-New Wolverine #4)
That's what I figured as well, although I never really gave it much thought.
Anyhow this quickly became one of my favorite animated films despite the fact that I didn't see it until about 14 years after it came out. I love the songs and still like watching them whenever given a chance.
