Default Acts of Vengeance II : Who should fight who?

Long story short - hero fights villain they have never fought before. So Howabout :

Miles Morales vs . Alex Wilder . Needs work I know, Maybe Alex needs Miles for a sacrifice to bring his parents back?

Basically a lot of new-school heroes (Gwen, Amadeus, Kamala, Luna, America, Billy & Teddy etc.) vs old and new faves.

    YOUR ideas on this one?

Is there a point? By now stuff like this is pretty commonplace. Most superheroes don’t even have rogues galleries anymore.

Mysterio vs the X-Men. X-Men think it is Arcade throughout the issue.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Doctor Strange vs Taskmaster-I want to see how Taskmaster who can copy any fighting style works if he attempts to copy magic or the movements required to perform magic.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."

I've got to say, I love this idea. There are so many directions to take this.

Hero vs hero conflicts became all the rage. Also incredibly evil one-shot villains who don't catch on, because the story is mostly about the hero's inner-turmoil, to the point that the villain is little more than a macguffin and a bookend. Between those two factors, there really hasn't been a lot of room for rogues galleries.
