First Class is the only bearable movie of the franchise with X2 imo. The others are expendable.

It's a really good movie that takes a lot of liberties with X-Men chronology and characterization so it's necessary really to not sit down to watch it expecting it to be a faithful adapation of the comics. However, it's a really good movie in its own right IMO that also happens to be a sort of origin story for Magneto and it doesn't stint on the Professor X/Mags bromance (always important!). Just don't think of the Emma Frost characters or Sebastian Shaw characters as the comic versions, just people who happen to share those names with them.
I literally loled. I have to admit I only rewatch that thing for shallow reasons while operating at the intellectual level of my cat watching birds fluttering:
Ooh look, it's Gambit and he's hot and making things go boom! Yay! It's baby Cyke! And he's adorable! Oh and Sabretooth is chasing him and then pinning him down homoerotically which is Bad and Wrong but also hot! Yay! Oh and Wolvie's shirtless a lot and sometimes naked! Yay!
Wait...there was a plot I was meant to be following...?
The only thing I take away from Origins is that they REALLY need to bring back Liev Schriber whenever whenever Creed returns to the films. He NAILED it.
This is the movie I'm most looking forward to this year. I really want to drive to New York to try and snag a ticket to the premiere, but I don't know how I feel about my chances....500 tickets seems like a lot to give out, but there are probably people who will be in line a couple days before...
Can't believe Wolverine isn't the last character profile to be released. Now the last one will be anticlimactic. Or be Kitty's.

My Blog following the adventures of Kitty Pryde, Lockheed and Magik
X2 is my favorite, but First Class was really good. I thought that The Wolverine was good too, much better than Origins. I'm curious to see what the tam of mutants is for Apocalypse.
Yeah. This is the part where I complain about the obvious lack of Kitty. The inevitable response will be that it makes more sense with Wolverine because timeline. I will then reply with they could've made Kitty work but they didn't want to because every X-Men movie with the exception of First Class has to be THE WOLVERINE SHOW. Glad to see Hugh Jackman is getting as tired of the character as I am.
