What TPB should I collect?

Got 65$ for my birthday and want some suggestions on what to collect.

Mostly own 90s superman, new52 and rebirth books.... but lately I've needed a break from supes.


Currently working through knightfall volume 1, liking it and since I haven't read much batman was considering the Rebirth Tom king books....

Thought about diving into metal also...

Noticed an Essentials copy of final crisis... considered that too...

I read superman, green lantern, flash, JL, wonder woman...

Would also be interested in any other random suggestions.

Have you ever read Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier? It's the story of the formation of the original JLA done by the storyboard artist for Batman: TAS and Batman Beyond. It's an all-time classic.

I will recommend my favorite three series by DC:

1. Starman by James Robinson- one of the greatest superhero stories ever told. It is a lot of fun and very well done.

2. JSA by Geoff Johns- my favorite run on the Justice Society and there are some terrific action packed arcs in this series.

3. The Flash by Mark Waid- one of the best runs on the Flash.
