How do you explain him STILL not being called up by the second issue, in which a decade had passed and the war was still going on. He would've no longer had his school immunity, so he did somehow dodge the draft. Even a line saying he was 4F'd would've sufficed.

IRL the draft was phased out in 1973. And in any case it would not have been relevant since most draftees weren't stationed in combat situations. The vast majority of US forces in Vietnam were volunteers. The draft was more of a moral and political symbol than anything else.

Nothing selling badly except SMDP, which is already known to be ending, and Marvel Action which is IDW so you'd expect to sell less.
