Also, seems telling that Avengers and X-men are selling less than acclaimed solo books like Incredible Hulk and Daredevil and even Venom (F4 is also selling higher, but that's more because the Doom/Galactus story was very hyped and people wanted to see how Slott would tackle it); brand recognition is not helping much if the writing is terrible.

The cast is completely unrecognizable in attitude since they're mind-controlled and in another universe.
Uncanny is a consistent top 5 seller on Comixology.

The WoTR issue didn't even made the top 10; don't know about the others, but the fact it had such a significant drop in print seems telling.

Didn't bother with even looking at AOXM covers and just drop UXM.
UXM began okay but it felt like I was always missing a issue when picking up the next. With AOXM... Really come on is just a rip off of AOA, i can just read that again lol.

Not even Logan and Cyclops can save the x men from bad stories.

I ask the guys in the Cyclops thread if I should pick it up, all said no but that it was a good story for the new mutants. It looks like is going to drop more the next issue.

    Those AoXM sales... YIKES!

These are for the second issues too. Predictions for #5?

It’s a miniseries, of course it doesn’t sell as much. And direct market orders are made months in advance so it’s literally impossible for these sales to have been affected by poor word of mouth.

Yeah, but I'm startin' to get the impression X-stock just isn't worth what it used to be. Overall, seems like the brand's damaged, regardless of product quality. Question is, is it salvageable? And if it is, does enough of anybody even care anymore? Maybe their time has truly come & gone, and it's not just quality, but... interest, that is lacking.

Considering UXM's #s which are still relatively well, Id say no. Its doing on par with the Avengers. We are in a transitional stage and most people arent buying AoX bc it is a set of minis which seem irrelevant to mainline 616. I think once Hickman takes over and Marvel gives the line a push, things will improve and hopefully sustain
