This is a weird feat and I'd be sort of inclined to throw it out if current Supes didn't have so much other batshit crazy stuff to his name. The stuff with not being able to fly is weird, but that aside it mostly just feels like it establishes his destructive power is where it should be with his lifting strength feats and durability.

I read the issue and he flew just fine once he got going. It's actually logical since he requires a bigger effort to breach escape gravity of a planet than fly through space

The feat was supposed to be something like "If he can't reach escape gravity, he's going to bust apart the very thing holding him back as a side effect of his immense leap! " Either way it is a remarkable feat to achieve at dying dregs of power but he was flashing back to his family and meditating to build up for one last push

    spoilers:
So, in the current issue Superman after going through a few suns, flies so fast that the vibrations are felt in every dimension and then oneshotted World Forger and destroyed his multiverse.
    end of spoilers

    Insane really.

must you repeatedly spoil stories without using the spoiler tag? is it too much of a strain to comply with board standards?

I didn't know that you need spoiler tags in rumble forum.

It's considered common courtesy rather than a hard rule, I believe.

If you're going to read a thread asking how strong a dude is, you should be prepared to hear everything he has done including the current run.

Haven't picked up DC since they killed nu52 so no clue what is going on, but I find it hard to believe superman has suddenly become a universal being...there has o be context to that.

yes but when the issue is just out then the practice of putting up spoiler tags or just declaring spoilers in the post is observed generally.

It’s in a different dimension with multiple suns. Supes flew through a number of them for the power up.

It’s still a hell of a feat for Supes though. The World Forger is right up there as cosmic beings go.

He's stupid strong. This latest feat seems consistent with stuff like pushing the weight of a planet for several days non stop.
